Winter Pillows

Our couch lacks pillows to prop things up with. You must have pillows to hold your book or to rest a bowl of soup on. I wanted to show off some new skills too, something I hadn’t tried before. It was not as easy as everyone said it would be, haha.

The three on the bottom are applique and made for the living room couch. Patterns from UrbanThreads. Snowman 1, snowman 2 & snowman 3. The Embroidery, again from Urbanthreads, on top was made for my reading chair, which doesn’t get much action in the winter because it is cold in the breezeway.

First one done, I feel bad for this snowman.

Fabrics are from Fabrics.com, but I have lost track of what I purchased. Most of it is flannel except the red snowflake pattern which was a metallic cotton.
